Student Spotlight: Claire Teffner

Hi, I’m Claire Teffner and I’m a freshman Global Studies major minoring in Business. My senior year of high school I didn’t know what I wanted my major to be. I knew I wanted to help people and I had taken Spanish all throughout high school so I knew I wanted to do something in that realm. I found the Global Studies major and I felt that it would be a perfect fit. Once my freshman year started, I fell more in love with the Global Studies major and the people in it. I joined Global Studies Club at the beginning of the school year and continued to be involved with it throughout the fall and spring semesters. Recently, I was asked to be the President of the club for the 2019/2020 school year. I am so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to see how the club grows and continues to thrive.
