Cuisine & Culture in Malaysia and Thailand

Explore the unique cuisine of Malaysia and Thailand on a journey through Southeast Asia. Students will start in Malaysia to savor the variety of local foods while exploring the countryside of Kuala Lumpur and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Malacca City and George Town. Students will then fly to Bangkok, Thailand to indulge in the cuisine of the northern, central, and southern regions of Thailand and experience the rich cultural heritage this bustling city has to offer.

All courses are taught in English.
Undergraduates will be registered for NTRI 5380 (3 credit hours)

PROGRAM COSTS

The program fee is TBD
Auburn Study Abroad fee of $677.
$1000 non-refundable deposit (required with application).

PASSPORT/VISA

If you do not have a passport: Please check travel.state.gov for the nearest local passport office and forms. Application for a United States passport should be made at least 120 days in advance of your departure date. Auburn Abroad recommends that you apply for a passport as soon as you know you are participating in the program. If you already have a passport: Please check the expiration date. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months following your scheduled time abroad.
