Participants in this program will enroll in 6 credit hours of HUSC 5940/6940 Study and Travel in Human Sciences. One credit hour will be allocated to all pre-departure meetings during the spring semester 2016. Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism Education (JAU), will be offering a culture-related course to the participants in this program in Jordan, taught in English by a JAU faculty. Total proposed course contact hours for this program are 90 hours, covering the pre-departure meetings; JAU culture-related class, and educational visits and excursions.
The program fee $3250 includes United Healthcare Global insurance, AU trip cancellation insurance, transportation within Jordan, lodging, excursions and cultural visits. Additionally, students book their own flights (estimated to be approximately $1,350), pay for meals (estimated to be approximately $450) and Auburn Study Abroad fee of $619 (instead of tuition).

Application for a United States passport should be made at least 120 days in advance of your departure date. Auburn Abroad recommends that you apply for a passport as soon as you know you are participating in the program. If you already have a passport: Please check the expiration date.
