Short Bio
My current position involves providing leadership for nutrition programs offered by Human Sciences Extension health and wellness regional extension agents employed by Alabama Cooperative Extension Service. I ensure that the programs offered to communities across the state, are backed by scientific evidence and meet the health and wellness needs of Alabamians. I work with the regional health and wellness extension agents to evaluate reach as well as impact of the programs we offer and support their efforts to provide educational resources to the communities they serve. My background in community based research design, implementation and evaluation as well as my experience as a clinical dietitian supports the work in which I currently engage.
