Short Bio

Theresa currently serves as a Contracts and Grants Specialist for the HSI team where she coordinates federal grants and supports the day-to-day operations of HSI’s USDA-funded nutrition incentive programs, Add Milk and Double Up Food Bucks. Her role involves everything from managing budgets and reimbursements to drafting contracts and onboarding retailers, as well as collaborating with graduate students on data review and reporting to funders. She previously worked as an Outreach Programs Administrator and Office Manager at HSI, having been a member of the team since October 2022. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Medicine and the National Center for PTSD, supporting a National Institute of Mental Health project. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed working behind the scenes to keep projects running smoothly.
