Short Bio
Mindy Street began serving as Executive Director of the Cary Center in July 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in philanthropic leadership from Auburn University. A proud two-time Auburn alumna, Street previously served as Director of Development for the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center, where she was a founding fundraiser for the facility that opened in 2019. Throughout her career, she has secured $75 million in support of scholarships, programs, initiatives, and capital projects across the university. Street’s career has been a powerful testament to the impact of strategic vision, relationship-building, and philanthropic leadership. Her journey across multiple areas at Auburn has uniquely prepared her to lead the Cary Center into its next chapter. With deep roots in fundraising and a passion for empowering others through philanthropy and leadership, she brings a rare blend of experience and heart to the Cary Center. Street holds a Bachelor of Arts (2006) and a Master of Education (2013), is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, completed the Cary Center’s Nonprofit Professional Certificate, serves as the Co-Director of the Miss Auburn University Scholarship Competition, and enjoys being active in the Auburn community, serving in various capacities with local nonprofits.
