Short Bio

Kelly Martin, Ph.D., is a faculty member in the Interior Design program with diverse professional design experience and nearly a decade of university teaching. She joined the Auburn University faculty in 2016 and currently serves as Senior Lecturer in the College of Human Sciences. Her background includes coordinating student services and recruiting for design majors, as well as industry experience in healthcare interior design, contract furniture, and showroom operations. Her research explores how residential interior environments influence maternal mental health and well‑being in the postpartum period.
