Dr. Book’s research interests center on human motivation and design response to gain insights that contribute to improving quality of life (QoL). Throughout his career, he has focused on user experience research in international contexts and on incorporating consumer perspectives into the design process. From his business background in international marketing and product development to his research in design, Book consistently advocates for end-users to support improvements in QoL.
