Welcome Message from Dr. Martin O’Neill
Horst Schulze Endowed Professor of Hospitality Management and Head of School
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support of our educational efforts at Auburn University. Your engagement and dedication are vital to our mission of preparing students to be job-ready, excel in their careers, and hit the ground running upon graduation. This is made possible through your active involvement in career counseling and recruitment at our Annual Career and Internship Fair.
Career and internship fairs play a crucial role in bridging the gap between academia and the professional world. These events provide our students with invaluable opportunities to network with industry professionals, gain insights into various career paths, and secure internships and job placements that are essential for their career development. The direct interaction with potential employers helps students understand industry expectations and better prepare for the challenges they will face in their professional lives.
We are thrilled to welcome you back to campus this year and to have an opportunity to once again showcase the fruits of our educational labors. Last fall, we shared updates on the progress of the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center (RCSC), and this year, we are excited to offer you a closer, more personal experience during the Career Fair. We look forward to showcasing the wide range of programs we offer within the Center, which we believe sets a new standard in Hospitality Management education.
Your participation in these events not only benefits our students but also strengthens the relationship between Auburn University and industry leaders. By engaging with our students, you contribute to the growth and success of the next generation of professionals, ensuring that they are well-prepared to meet the demands of an ever-evolving job market.
The faculty, staff, and students of Auburn’s program eagerly anticipate your visit this Fall. We are confident that this year's Career and Internship Fair will be a mutually rewarding experience, providing you with the opportunity to meet our talented students and see firsthand the impact of your support on their educational journey.
With sincere best wishes and gratitude for your continued support.
War Eagle!
Sincerely,
Martin O'Neill
