I am interning at BigHouse Foundation in Opelika. I first heard of BigHouse when the founder, Micah Melnick spoke in my HDFS 2030 class. Interning with BigHouse has already begun to shape my heart for foster children and their families. It has given me a new way to apply what I have learned in HDFS, both through interacting with families and understanding the developmental needs of children. I love BigHouse!
