A unique partnership between academia and commercial offerings, the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center is home to the School of Hospitality Management. Working with Ithaka Hospitality Partners, students will be hands-on in presenting exceptional experiences to the community and visitors to the Plains.

The July/August Feature — The Laurel Hotel & Spa.

Hospitality Management professor Dr. David Martin is taking us to “new heights” as we get a sneak peek at the rooftop of the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center in Auburn. Learn how hospitality management students will be hands-on from arrival to poolside to departure. Hit play and get a taste of the luxury living offered through a stay at The Laurel and enjoy the best view in town.

 



The June feature — Wine Appreciation Laboratory.

In this monthly feature, Department Head of Nutrition, Dietetics and Hospitality Management Dr. Martin O’Neill takes us inside the Wine Appreciation Laboratory. A master sommelier or a certified wine educator will teach wine appreciation classes to students in this space and also provide the community and hotel guests the opportunity to experience classes and tastings. Step inside this uniquely-equipped space designed to educate and entertain for a look at what is to come.
