With the 2022 opening of the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center, home of the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management, a donor society was added to reach those who love the college and wanted to continue to make a tremendous impact on the College of Human Sciences. The Chigi Palace is Auburn’s only permanent overseas campus and has hosted more than 1,000 students in the JSB program since its inception two decades ago. Beyond living and learning in the welcoming community of Ariccia, the students experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Italy while earning an international minor in human sciences.

Student Scholarships can be funded on an annual or endowed basis. Annual scholarships require a minimum commitment of $1,000/year. Scholarships can be given unrestrictedly to a student in the college or specified by department or major. Endowed scholarships establish scholarship opportunities as permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. An endowment requires a minimum commitment of $25,000 that is payable over a period of up to five years.
Fellowships and Assistantships provide funding for graduate students. As with scholarships, fellowships can be funded on an annual or endowed basis. An annual fellowship or assistantship can be established with a minimum annual gift of $5,000. An endowed assistantship requires a minimum commitment of $30,000, while an endowed fellowship requires a minimum commitment of $100,000, both payable over a period of up to five years.
Additional endowed naming opportunities include professorships (minimum commitment of $300,000) and chairs (minimum commitment of $1,000,000) payable over a period of up to five years. Please contact a team member for more information.

The Harris Early Learning Center is a state-of-the-art and NAEYC accredited preschool facility for over 200 children ranging in age from six weeks to five years of age. Each of the 16 classrooms is staffed with two full-time educators. Anchored in developmentally appropriate practice and research in early childhood education, children are provided rich opportunities to construct understanding and develop through play and thematic learning.

The Auburn University Early Learning Center is an accredited laboratory preschool serving children ages 2, 3, 4, and 5 years old. The Center serves as a laboratory and internship site for Auburn University students who work under the supervision of head teachers and the director.
