At the beginning of the pandemic when the country went into shutdown mode and people were instructed to quarantine, Sergio took in close family friends who had recently lost their home to a fire. Along with maintaining a family farm and a home, Sergio led the charge in providing three home cooked meals a day to a crew of seven people. He made this time feel more like a summer retreat than a quarantine. Sergio offered compassionate hospitality with ease, providing fond memories during what most would call a challenging time.
