If you could study any random thing other than HDFS/MFT, what would it be?
Consumer Science and/or Marketing. I worked as a supervisor in women’s retail during college, and I think the social and psychological factors influencing consumers are fascinating.
What advice would you offer to someone thinking about graduate school?
Consider your big-picture, long term goals and make decisions about graduate school and graduate programs based on those. You want a great fit! During graduate school, your long terms goals may change as your program advances. Be flexible and take advantage of a variety of opportunities to find what really makes your heart sing.
