HDFS curriculum is designed to develop a multidisciplinary perspective on the study of individuals and families across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on practical application of classroom knowledge. Graduates enter a variety of careers with children, parents, single adults, couples, and families.

Admissions
CHS follows the Auburn University admissions criteria for freshmen and transfer students for all undergraduate programs with the exception of Interior Design. Additional information about admission to AU is available from the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment. Students interested in applying for the Interior Design program must file additional application materials with the Department of Consumer Affairs.
