UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

The Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Hospitality Management (NDHM) offers undergraduate nutrition related programs in Nutrition Science, Dietetics, and Wellness. All majors take a core of courses that include physical and biological sciences, as well as liberal arts and humanities, providing graduates with a strong educational foundation and excellent career preparation.

NDHM graduates are in high demand in a variety of health-related, hospitality, and foods industry careers.
The Dietetics option is approved by the American Dietetic Association as academic preparation for a career in dietetics. The Nutrition Science option is designed to prepare students for health professional schools, such as, medical, dental, and physical therapy. The Wellness option is designed to prepare students for successful career entry into the broad health and wellness professions. The combination of these areas within a single department facilitates integrative studies for the purpose for understanding and developing professional skills for careers in education, industry, government and business.
