Suzanne Lacey is an elementary education graduate of Auburn University and superintendent of Talladega County Schools. Due to her swift action and careful planning, the rural school district – which includes 17 schools, 7,500 students and 800 staff members – benefitted from quality service and communication to continue educating students and ensuring the well-being of the community.
