HDFS Internship Placement Paperwork

Download and save the PDF Application and Commitment Forms files to your Computer before you complete them. Email your completed Application materials and Commitment Forms to Dr. Stephanie Baumann. Only PDF files will be accepted (no pictures, please).

Submit your Internship Application two semesters in advance of the semester you plan to intern. Your Internship Application incudes (1) the completed Application for your Concentration or Option and (2) a copy of your recent Graduation Check. Application deadlines are:

October 15 for Summer Semester
March 15 for Fall Semester
June 15 for Spring Semester

Submit your Commitment Forms one semester prior to the semester you plan to intern.

Away from Campus Dining Plan Accommodation Request

If you will be away from the AU campus during your internship, you can request to have your dining fees refunded. To obtain the refund, you'll need to complete an away from campus accommodation request form before the 10th day of class.

To access the application, go to your AU Access page and at the My Campus tab on the left is a section called Tiger Dining. Click Away from Campus Dining Plan Accommodation Request.

You’ll need to submit your schedule that shows you are registered for the HDFS Internship course. This schedule can be found on your AU Access page. You’ll access it at the My Academics tab. Please sure that your name is in the top right corner next to the AU logo, that it states the semester for which you are requesting the exemption and that the internship information is listed.
