My translational research efforts focus on strengthening community-based programs focused on relational health and include the consideration of unique pathways of change based on individual and program context, a broader view of potential benefits of program involvement, and the iterative use of emerging, relevant research. I believe research and practice are best served when we expand upon evaluation methods that seek solely the average individual experience in the average program, by considering more complex questions that assume multiple models and pathways to optimal relational health.
