Favorite books/movies?
Any movie with Adam Sandler in it!

Favorite quotes/sayings?
My dad has always said to me “If it was easy, then everyone would do it.” I also love the quotes “Rejection is merely a redirection.” By Brian McGill and “What's meant for you will never miss you and what missed you was never meant for you.”

Childhood jobs?
I couldn’t seem to get away from kids... throughout high school I was a cheer/ gymnastics coach, camp counselor, and a summer nanny/ babysitter.

Pets?
I have an 11-year-old miniature Shetland sheepdog named Reggie, and he has the heart and soul of a sweet old man who just wants a fully belly and a nap.

What advice would you offer to someone thinking about graduate school?
Have a strong understanding of your “why” because you will need to lean on this often to be resilient in your pursuit. Get involved in the field or any related field to gain experience and be assured it is a path you are passionate about. Find people within your field of interest and ask them questions about the dynamics and culture of the program, their lived experiences, and how you can prepare.
