Back home, my family has two pit bulls, Kobe and Odin, a schnauzer, Zoey, and a French bulldog, Apollo.
Any lessons learned?
Throughout my time at Auburn, I have learned to not stress about things not in my control and roll with the punches. I can only control what is right in front of me. If something doesn’t go in my favor, that’s ok. I take it in, make adjustments, and look to where I can go next.
What advice would you offer to someone thinking about graduate school?
Be prepared to juggle a lot of responsibilities. It can get overwhelming but never lose sight of your goals. Also, self-care is important. Don’t be afraid to take some time to yourself and continue doing the things you enjoy.
