Interests

     I am interested in remarried families, both in issues of formation and relationship, as well as clinical issues that arise in the context of remarriage and remarried families. I am also interested in marriage and family therapy supervision and generally marriage and family therapy processes and outcomes.

Project Evaluator, Begin Education Early and Healthy: Strengthening Rural Alabama Families (Principal Investigators: Ellen Abell and Francesca Adler-Bader), 2003-2008. Project budget - $750,000.00. A federal CYFAR, New Communities Project grant.




Project Director, Youth Leadership Incubator Program, Appalachian Regional Commission, 1996-98. Project budget - $200,000.00. A federal grant to devise a training program to develop youth leaders. The program was piloted with youth in seven economically distressed North Alabama counties.




Director, Contracts with various community agencies for the internship placement of clinical graduate students.
