Interests
My research, teaching, and extension programming interests focus families under stress. Specifically, this includes work with family dynamics post-divorce and in stepfamily formation; military family functioning, physical child abuse; and couple/marital relationships in low-resource families. In addition, I am interested in the research-practice linkage and work primarily in the areas of stepfamily life education and relationship/marriage education.
