Interests
Research interests include the etiology of adolescent problem behaviors, deviance, delinquency, violence, and health compromising behaviors; criminological theory; family/parenting processes (e.g., closeness or monitoring); academic aspirations and achievement; adolescent adjustment and well-being; the school-work nexus; cross-cultural/national contextual influences.
Statistics/Methodology: Measurement development; construct validation (CFA); SEM techniques (AMOS, EQS, & LISREL); comparative method (e.g., cross-cultural/national); program evaluation.
