NEPAL

Overview

This program aims to introduce and familiarize students with a culture that is distinctly different from their own by spending a month traveling through Nepal with experiences that range from navigating the bustling city of Kathmandu, trekking through the foothills of the Himalayas, taking in the lakeside district in Pokhara, and exploring the jungles of the Chitwan region. Students will interact with various Non Governmental Organizations (NGO’s), participate in community development initiatives, experience tourism in a developing country, and become true global citizens. After the first month, students have the opportunity to stay at a bed and breakfast owned by our vendor, Five14 Nepal, and complete an internship with one of several entities that our office has connections with within Kathmandu.
