Scotland

Overview

Explore historical, political, and cultural landmarks on a journey through Great Britain as we study society, philanthropy, and charitable impact across England and Scotland. Students will develop an understanding of British culture and an insight into the role and impact of philanthropy throughout the United Kingdom’s most historically significant landmarks. Special guest lectures will feature philanthropic leaders and visits to important charities, all culminating in an experience that will broaden our understanding of the origins of Western philanthropy and its subsequent impact on the world.

Students will be registered for CADS 3940 for 3 credit hours.
